Stourhead’s Trust10 10k trail run is a challenging, multi-terrain run involving some public roads. The half - The course is undulating and challenging with scenic views arising frequently and a fast finish. The 5 miler - The first part is undulating with plenty of downhills, but overall an uphill eleveation. The second part reverses this and runners finish with a fast last mile.
I’ve never been able to find out why it’s called the Beer Race. It’s a 7.2-mile (approx.) road race over an undulating, three-lap course starting at the Old Lodge Inn, Minchinhampton. The Cleeve Cloud Cuckoo 5mile multi-terrain race is held over an undulating course on Cleeve Common. The course is a figure of eight and the race is run entirely on Cleeve Common, mostly on grass footpaths but with stretches of gravel and stones.
