Details are a little hard to find, but I think this is a 10k race around the Lyneham military base, with a variety of military vehicles dotted along the course.

I’ve never been able to find out why it’s called the Beer Race. It’s a 7.2-mile (approx.) road race over an undulating, three-lap course starting at the Old Lodge Inn, Minchinhampton.
