A point-to-point race that starts in Taunton and ends in Minehead. The first 15 miles are flat, but then things do start to undulate (there’s 2,128 feet of elevation). Enter now at the Albion Running website. This race starts and ends in Minehead. You’ll be rewarded with some spectacular scenery, but you’ll pay for it with 7,337 feet of elevation, more than three times more than the flat version of the race. 6 events,This 10k race will see you run through the village of Semington, along the Kennet & Avon Canal towpath and through lanes and bridle paths. There’s also a 2k fun run. Proceeds raised go to the local St George’s School. Find out more at the official Facebook page. Details are a little hard to find, but I think this is a 10k race around the Lyneham military base, with a variety of military vehicles dotted along the course. 1.5k, 5k and 10k options, raced around the grounds of the Badminton Estate. There’s multiple distances to choose from with this race, with 51k, 43k, 23k, 15k, 7k routes available across plenty of hills. Full details are available at the Maverick Races website. The Cleeve Cloud Cuckoo 5mile multi-terrain race is held over an undulating course on Cleeve Common.
